🏑 Fall Field Hockey 2022 🏑GYAC is pleased to offer fall field hockey for girls or boys in grades 1-6. Previously, sessions were held on Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Brooke Field in Glenside. At the moment we are trying to find a more suitable field for the game of field hockey. This would mean the season would start on Sunday September 11, 2022 and run until Sunday October 30, 2022. They will also be introduced to full pitch positioning, penalty corners and playing with a goalie. Because we play on grass, it would also be beneficial for your child to have cleats but not required. At this time, we are not required to wear face masks while playing.

About Us
Southern Illinois IceHawks (SIIH) is a local youth hockey organization operating out of the McKendree Metro Rec Plex in O'Fallon, IL. The SIIH is a 501c3 non-profit organization; all leadership positions are voluntary; to include all board members, coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, etc.

The time has come for Season 34 sign-ups
It will be Monday, August 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. or until sold out. (8 teams)
It will be held inside the John Atkinson Center in the lobby as you enter. As a reminder, this is a mixed league of 18 years and over.
What you will need for week 1:
- Eye protection (safety glasses/goggles)
- Your own stick (any stick is allowed but no wood allowed). One-piece or two-piece composite
- The appropriate shirt if Home/Away
Make sure you have the following when registering:
- A few shirt number options
(2 and 3 digit options for new players joining)
- List of who you play with
(Packages of 5 or less pending approval)
- Method of payment (cash or electronic transfer)
There will be the registration form and the waiver form. BOTH must be completed and reviewed regarding safety and covid protocols
