The Norske Tools NMAP001 was easy to move around, thanks to its 13-pound weight (although we had to place a rag underneath so we could just push it with our feet.) I read somewhere in the spec sheet that the blade is made from high-speed tool steel, but he didn't specify whether they were molybdenum or cobalt steels. Luckily it was made with HSS, otherwise the blade would have broken during the first few hundred cuts. It works perfectly well for cutting engineered flooring and sheathing boards, but we were curious if it could cut hardwood floors. Also, some parts of this tool are made of aluminum, so I don't have to worry about it rusting when I keep it or give it away. It also features a 45 degree zero indicator for miter cuts, ideal for siding or flooring that needs to have its ends cut diagonally.
