Clutch Pedal Stuck On Floor
Clutch Pedal Stuck On Floor
I can pull the pedal up and get a little resistance halfway through and the pedal will stay in place, but when pressure is applied it will spring back to the ground. I'm not sure any of this will help, as you can see I'm not a mechanic and I dreaded the day when I would have to take the Z to the shop and leave it.Hopefully this doesn't end up holding the bank back!
Clutch Pedal Sticking Occasionally
My Seat Leon (14 Reg) just started having trouble with the clutch pedal not always returning after pressing. I haven't noticed this problem before2) I've only done 700-something miles in the last year so the car hasn't seen much use - especially in the last 6 months I've been out in the car on Friday and after driving a while noticing that the clutch pedal was acting a little weird. The pedal would stay down and I had to pump it again to release it. This morning I decided I needed to use the car more, so I sat in it and pressed the clutch which went all the way to the floor without any resistance. Then I started the engine and let it warm up and eventually the clutch started to have resistance and although it would stick most of the time it would come back with the pumping.Postby BusyBadger » Sun Oct 03, 2010 12:35 AM

You may want someone else in the car to engage the clutch while you watch and listen for leaks. If it's a line leak, or even if it's a CMC leak, you should consider putting on a steel clutch line while you're there to take care of. things. This is if you haven't already done this when fitting the new clutch. In case you need it: NICO 350Z FSM Directory Good luck!

I don't want you to run back to the dealership and tell them that people on the internet call them liars... but when your clutch pedal hits the ground, it's usually always something to do with the system hydraulic that pushes the clutch fork, or the clutch fork itself could have broken. but that doesn't really make sense to me.
