Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime involved is a felony. Please note that reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT and WY. Although HomeAdvisor continues its background check program whenever possible, these closures may prevent certain background checks from being performed. Please note that during this time, if we were unable to complete a background check, HomeAdvisor will allow the business to enter the network and match the business with consumers.
