Again the hardest part was the installation as we wanted to have enough plank engagement under each of the two angle irons so we had to slide one in first and then chain/strap the other end to stay down and jack under the middle to tilt the board enough to place the front end under the angle. I can't remember 100% but I don't believe he used ties in the middle, or anywhere for that matter.
