1920s/30s hairstyle tutorial for long hair

Inspiration

It's the drawing of the 1930s that inspired my hairstyle. And some images of similar hairstyles from the 1920s: 1920s photograph, 1928 color photograph, 1927 painting, and even a 1920s video of a woman with long hair doing her hair in a faux bob (from about 3: 57). Apart from the finger waves, the hairstyle is quick to achieve. It is comfortable and really resembles a late 1920s or early 1930s hairstyle.

The "Finger Wave" and the "Faux Bob" were the most popular styles of the time and were often decorated with embellished locks of hair like the one in the image above. The "Faux Bob" was created for women who had long hair but wanted to follow the short hair look of the time without committing to a haircut.
